Reintroducing The Ghini Pic

I am not a writer, just got a lot of ideas to share.

Last year when I started my fashion blog, I was incredibly excited and passionate about it. 2 months into fashion blogging, I realised it was extremely time consuming. It was almost impossible to fit University, work and photoshoot as well as editing into my schedule. At that point I noticed the only way to do it professionally is to do it full time and that is why most of the fashion bloggers do not have another job (of course some of them do). With the tight schedule and heavy workload, I decided to stop blogging.

Since I gave up blogging last year, I went through an ultimate betrayal, lost my nan, and learnt hell a lot more about life. It became a very dark period of my life, not knowing who I could trust and seek help from. Thanks to the love and support of those who cared, I am proud to say I picked myself up and now I am stronger than ever. I was fortunate enough to have my eyes opened to Veganism. Even though I am still a meat eater, it has completely changed the way I look at the world. I am not here to convince you to become a Vegan but it is an extremely interesting concept which I think everything should take inspirations from. It is also one of the reasons I decided to stop promoting vanity and do something that could potentially empower one another.

Content of my blog; the focus will no longer be outfit shots of myself. It will be a lifestyle focused blog with fashion contents. I will be sharing my personal experiences, thoughts about situations and problems with you so don’t be surprised to see friendship related content! Of course, fashion is my passion. You will see posts such as style tips, what is trending and how to dress expensive for less etc.

To me, honesty is the way forward but being daring in delivery can also mean being opinionated. You certainly don’t have to agree with me and your opinions are always welcomed! I have learnt that looking from others’ perspectives allow you to have a better understanding of situations. Thank you for starting this new chapter with me, I look forward to sharing my journey with you. Take care, Ghini x
